Who? Where? Why?

Who:

We are a family operated business that has a true love for the hobby. We want to pass along the enjoyment we continue to have for the hobby to our customers and to new generations of our own family. The deals we make come from years of experience not just with sportscards and collectibles, but with people and how business should be conducted.

Where:

We used to operate a well organized, fully stocked sportscard shop based in Nashville, NC, with a second, smaller location in Fort Walton Beach, FL. With the rising costs involved in maintaining a 'brick & mortar' shop, we made the decision to close our shops and focus our attention towards the Internet. Since our move, we have continued to build a strong (and growing) list of satisfied customers. We will be working hard in the future to build our site into the best 'Sportscard Hobby' site around. While we maintain our present direction, we will also continue to look into the possibility of re-opening a free-standing Hobby Shop that will allow our customers to interact with us and with fellow sportscard collectors face to face.

Why:

We began with the simple enjoyment of opening packs of cards. I like to collect just about anything that holds my interest while my son concentrates on his growing Cal Ripken, JR. (and Baltimore Orioles) collection and building sets, which has become a lost art these days. We progressed from visiting local card shows to checking out larger 'national' shows and eventually began setting up our own tables at card shows. At every show we tried to make the hobby fun by providing unique products to our customers and telling anyone who would listen that our philosophy was simple - 'If you are not having fun, find something else to do'.
